The story that never gets old
Can never be too many times told
The LORD of all came (down to earth)
Was crucified died without a crime
He hung on that cross of shame
He did not deny or ease the pain
Emptied Himself all all the blood
which was the flood to wash us clean

Oh the Whip, the Cross, the Grave
The path our Lord God took to save
Swapped our place in death and pain
So we can rise with Him again

The story that never gets old
It is new and fresh, must be retold
The blood that gushed out from His side that day
Still washes clean today
The power released never wanes
His lashes still heals all pains
My God emptied Himself of all
To save us from eternal fall

Oh the Whip, the Cross, the Grave
The path our Lord God took to save
Swapped our place in death and pain
So we can rise with Him again

The story that must be told
On the rooftops and below
That this saviour LORD, our God
Rose again is victory
Our sin and pain and hurt
He left them in the grave
We now stand with Him in victory
We must be bold and tell this story

One step after another
In Your foot prints gone before
On seed after another
Plant in the hole your waters pour
One ink stroke after another
in the pattern you provided
no stepping out from the plan You set
This is my destiny

Holy Spirit voice
Be my signal
Holy Spirit touch

Holy Spirit Wind
Be my sailing
on the journey of Life
On this great journey of Life

Used to pray and got no answers
Used to cry out without hope that God would hear my voice
‘Cos my sin had sent out from His presence
In a hole of desperation
In a prison of hopeless existence
Couldn’t pay what I owed even if tried real hard forever

I heard about forgiveness
A life where I didn’t have to try
I heard about forgiveness
A place I did not have to cry
(to be heard by God)
I heard the full cost of my sin was paid
and Justice had been served indeed
Now I can have forgiveness
and be truly free

Now I pray and there are answers
Now I call out, I know that God is glad to hear my voice
There’s no sin between me and The Father
In His presence I live and I’m full of joy
No prison walls around me
Eternal hope is mine and there is no debt to pay forever

I heard about forgiveness
A life where I didn’t have to try
I heard about forgiveness
A place I did not have to cry
(to be heard by God)
I heard the full cost of my sin was paid
and Justice had been served indeed
Now I can have forgiveness
and be truly free

Can you imagine
All that you’ve done wrong forgotten
Can you imagine
Not a trace, not a sign, not a word said about it
Can you imagine
Turning back the hand of time
See no bad record behind
Imagine
Go into the future
Make your way pure?

Sins completely forgotten

We have a righteous beginning

In Christ

If God has forgotten
There ain’t nobody bringing it up
Not even my conscience
Going’ to make me feel some guilt no

When Jesus rose up from the grave
He said all power in heaven and earth had been given
In the name of Jesus all will be saved
So we must Go in his name and loud proclaim
There are powerful signs that will follow
Everyone who is bold enough to holla
To the world in the name of Jesus Christ
We must Go Go c’mon arise

We’ve got to go go
Go to the nations
The signs will show show
Flow in demonstration
Get up take the Word and go
Go where the need is
Let the power flow flow fix the broken places

Before the master went up into heaven
He said to wait that Holy Spirit be given
And we will have power after the Spirit had come
Then we will be His witnesses to everyone
There ain’t no witnessing void of Power
This is the time and this is the hour
Declare His Word with healing and might
Deliverance to all we’ve got to fight the fight

We’ve got to go go
Go to the nations

Get up take the Word and go
Go where the need is

Take the WORD and go
Let the people know (Repeat)
