Your Truth oh Lord is my defence
Your Words dear Christ my dependence

Even if I don’t see the light of day
In the manner I thought it would be
My submission to Your Truth will stay
‘Cos Right here right now I’m free
Your Truth is my constant display
For me and mine to see and say
The banner to always guide our way
Through daily walk to eternal destiny
Your Truth will mark my borders
Within these walls I will keep under
Feelings and thoughts that try to wander
to vain visions that go nowhere
We’ll be still and wait right here LORD
Behind Your banner and shield of your WORD
Some laugh and say we’re in prison with a guard
But this palace is safety in God
For where The LORD is there is freedom
Everything will bow to Your wisdom
When the Word of Truth is found in me
I’m unleashed to boundless victory
For I will know the Truth indeed
The Truth makes me free indeed
So this banner of TRUTH will always be
My label my guide and guard for life.
