It is new and fresh, must be retold
The blood that gushed out from His side that day

The power released never wanes
His lashes still heals all pains
My God emptied Himself of all

That this saviour LORD, our God

Used to pray and got no answers
Used to cry out without hope that God would hear my voice
‘Cos my sin had sent out from His presence
In a hole of desperation
In a prison of hopeless existence
Couldn’t pay what I owed even if tried real hard forever

I heard about forgiveness
A life where I didn’t have to try
I heard about forgiveness
A place I did not have to cry
(to be heard by God)
I heard the full cost of my sin was paid
and Justice had been served indeed
Now I can have forgiveness
and be truly free

Now I pray and there are answers
Now I call out, I know that God is glad to hear my voice
There’s no sin between me and The Father
In His presence I live and I’m full of joy
No prison walls around me
Eternal hope is mine and there is no debt to pay forever

I heard about forgiveness
A life where I didn’t have to try
I heard about forgiveness
A place I did not have to cry
(to be heard by God)
I heard the full cost of my sin was paid
and Justice had been served indeed
Now I can have forgiveness
and be truly free

Before the master went up into heaven
He said to wait that Holy Spirit be given
And we will have power after the Spirit had come
Then we will be His witnesses to everyone
There ain’t no witnessing void of Power
This is the time and this is the hour
Declare His Word with healing and might
Deliverance to all we’ve got to fight the fight

The luxury that I desire
But freely; and freely You’ve made Yourself available to all

If we could only have a little more of You
If we could gain a stronger perception of You
If we could only be more aware of You
Then we’d be truly happy we are truly richer
Then our security would be stronger
You oh God are the return worth striving for

You oh God are my great motivation
The reason I keep going on
The pleasure that I look forward to
In all my endeavour in life
You are the opulent life destination
The luxury that I desire
But freely; and freely You’ve made Yourself available to all

Freely have you given yourself
So freely we partake of You
Plenty you have poured out yourself
Fully immersed in You we must be
Access to your presence is the most precious of treasures
And in there is the most intense of pleasures
We will apply myself just that little more
To receive of You just that little more
Turn up daily to the business that is required
to partake fully of what’s been freely given)

More of God till overflowing
Is ultimate wealth and surplus living

Always reaching
to heal the sick
Always hoping
Always yearning that they only ask
Come to Him and be healed
Run into His outstretched arms and be healed
for He says

Always breaking chains
Always opening the prison doors
Jesus always saves
Always providing to those in need

This is the Father’s heart
