Times are uncertain
Communities evolve
Go away for a year and when you return,
things aren’t always the same way when you left home
For even people change
But from before the beginning of time
Until after the close of time
The Word of God is steadfast
And everyone who latches on
Finds a sure anchor
In the eternal Word of Christ
Nations rage, mountains move,
Seas roar the whole world shaken
But there is peace in the stern with Jesus. Rest here, on the master relying
He is the unchanging Word of God
